Pecan Cheese Pie & Giveaway Winners

This week is a week of pictures. This is us at our pie party.

We had a backyard full of children riding bikes, playing the sandbox and on the swing set, and a lot of adult conversation. Yay for another year!

Pecan Cheese Pie

Ingredients:

Layer I: Combine
8 oz softened cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
Place this first layer on bottom of unbaked pie shell.

Layer II: Place on top of cream cheese mixture:
1 cup chopped pecans

Layer III: Combine in separate bowl
1 cup Karo Syrup
1/3 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla

Bake at 350 for approximately 45 minutes.
