Who are we?

One of the things on my Dad's "to do" list
was to repair some familial headstones.
He shared our Grandparents' story of how they met,
where they were from, and how they lived.

We went to the cemetery and replaced them together.

My brother created the molds that hold the broken stones.
He fixed them.
He is pictured here with his family.
In the same cemetery, my Mom's family are also buried.
Two sides of the family are here.

Now as the next generation learns
who they are and what they accomplished,
they can make decisions about who they will become.

"Who are we? We are children of God.
Our potential is unlimited. Our inheritance is sacred.
May we always honor that heritage—in every thought and deed."
