Junior Ranger

While Hurricane and I packed for our trip,
Underfoot attended Junior Ranger Camp.

The National Parks Service provides educational opportunities
for children to learn about the parks.

The Parks System teaches about exploring, learning, and protecting
the national parks for future generations.
Hurricane was waiting for the presentations and awards ceremony.
At this Junior Ranger camp, four groups presented on different
learned topics such as animals, flora of the desert, and
some conservation.

During the program, they went on a hike, did classroom work,
and a group project.
Underfoot enjoyed his time and wanted to go to more parks
to participate in their Junior Ranger programs.

Underfoot completed the course with a certificate
and good memories.
