Princes and Kings

My Grandpa had a favorite poem. He asked that we learn the poem. Over the past few weeks we have every morning at breakfast recited it.

Underfoot needed to share a talk in Junior Primary. He decided to use the poem as part of his talk. We drew and colored pictures for R. L. Sharpe's poem, "A Bag of Tools."

Isn't it strange that Princes and Kings,
And clowns that caper in sawdust rings,
And common people like you and me,
Are builders for eternity?

Each is given a bag of tools
A shapeless mass, a book of rules
And each must make, ere his life is flown -
A stumbling block or a Stepping Stone.

(End of Poem - Rest of Talk)

I know that Jesus will help me to build Stepping Stones.
One of the Stepping Stones is to be baptized.
When I turn 8 years old, I will choose to be baptized.

That was so great! Isn't it so wonderful that these young ones have the chance to express their tender testimonies?

Good job, Loceys!
