The Whole Armor of God

So we decided to read and learn about Ephesians 6:10-18. Now working with little children anything that provides something hands-on is much better. We decided to make our own armor.
We took 2 plastic platters and drilled holes for tying on the breast plate. We needed to decorate them and did with foam stickers.
They had many helmets to choose from already in their toy box. We had a box and cut out cardboard shields. We had a left over insulation tubing from a plumbing project.
They enjoyed sword fighting afterward and liked how it didn't hurt because they had protection. The one thing we didn't provide was foot and leg protection.
They continue to play.
