So what do you do with crayons that have been broken in half? My baby LOVES to break crayons. I think he feels powerful, and he likes the sound. He gets this huge grin on his face after he breaks a crayon and says, "broke."
So we found a cookie mold, took the papers off, loaded up the molds, and put them in the oven to meld together. The oven was heated to 350 degrees. With the preheat and about 5 minutes, the crayons had melted into a color waxy glob.
The crayons bubbled and mixed as they cooled.
The crayons looked really glossy and pretty as they cooled.
They are fun and make an interesting colored pictures when used.

This sounds like fun! Does the pan come clean pretty easily?
