1/3 cup margarine
2 squares chocolate
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 cup sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts
Melt margarine and chocolate together in a 2 quart saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together into chocolate mixture and mix thoroughly. Pour into a greased 9 1/2x 13 1/2 x 2 inch pan. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees F) 20-25 minutes. Yield: 24 2-inch squares
