Barbecued Spare Ribs

Brush ribs with smoke and leave over-night. Brown ribs in hot oven. Remove grease. Mix following sauce for 2 ribs.

1 c. catsup
1/4 c. Heinz steak sauce
1/4 c. Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbs. vinegar
1 cup water

Mix thoroughly and pour over browned ribs. Baste often and bake until ribs are tender (covered).

After ribs are browned, unless they have a slight smell of smoke, brush them again with 1 tsp. of smoke in 1/4 c. water, then cover with sauce or put 1 tsp. smoke in sauce.
