We crossed into Kansas early in the morning.
We didn't see the sign until
after we took a picture with the welcome to Colorado sign.
We did a u-turn on the median and got the picture.
As we had been driving, we saw fields and fields of sunflowers.
Underfoot kept saying he wanted to pick me one.
So he did when we stopped in Kansas.
Hurricane though the sunset was pretty and asked that I take a picture.
The sunset was beautiful. The colors were gentle and peaceful.
Another family had stopped at the sign.
I took their picture, and they took ours.
This was the last state sign for our fall break collection.
