New Year's Snow

We had snow in our desert. 

It came during the night. 

The snow stayed for the morning.

There was snow to pack into cups and eat.

The boys made monster tracks.

We don't own the right snow clothes

so they wore multiple layers.

He made an angel.

The grass showed through and made the edges.

I bundled up to play outside.

Sweetheart covered the trees.

He was checking to see if the fruit had frozen.

The fruit was fine.

The night before was New Year's Eve.

Our friend gave us colored smoke fireworks.

We lit them to color the snow.
