Sweetheart wrote for our weekly family update:
"On Monday, Wendy wiped out on her bike.
She was trying to avoid an oncoming car on a dirt road.
She hit a patch of sand and wiped out.
When she returned home, she asked me for some first aid.
I immediately wiped aloe on it causing tears to come to her eyes.
She road burned the skin off her leg, bruised both ankles, and her shoulder.
Needless to say she was sore."
Here is a picture 4 days later.
This wound still stung to the touch and had started to itch.

You're a trooper! Just remember, it is okay to allow ourselves to heal, whatever might need healing. You're amazing!
