Swim Team

One of the goals for 2013 was to participate in a swim team.

We found a team that was only 15 minute drive from us.

Coach Amy was wonderful!

She took time and had patience with each boy.

She even had patience as this Mom learned.

Swim team was 4 days a week for 1 hour.

Hurricane would swim for about 45 minutes then he was too cold and tired.

Underfoot would swim the entire hour.

They learned they love to wear goggles.

That swimming is hard.

They have endurance and can work physically hard.

We swam the pre-season because we would miss too much of the regular season

being with family this summer.

The last day of swim practice

both boys asked if they could swim year round.

We will work on strokes before enrolling again.

They loved it.

I loved it too because they worked hard and learned to love the water!
