Sugar Cookies (No Refrigeration Required)

My SIL gave me this recipe. We needed to make some cookies for a piano recital. The recipe is easy and little hands can help roll out and cut cookies.
 Sugar Cookies
Source: Michelle Locey

2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla
10 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
4 teaspoons baking powder

Mix butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Mix until they are just incorporated. Add to the mixture sour cream and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Add to butter-sugar mixture. Roll out immediately and cut with cookie cutters. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 9-11 minutes.

We used cream cheese frosting to decorate.

I thought my mom was the only one that used SIL and MIL and FIL, etc.

These look good. I'll have to try them.
