Spicy Memories

This Christmas my Aunt Karol helped my Grandpa with Christmas. He is slowly sharing my Grandma Bodell's things. He gave my Mom a few spices. She in turn shared a few of the spices with me because I like to cook and will use them. Here are a few pictures of the treasures.

I don't know how old the cherry flavoring is but the bottle is really cool. The back of the bottle has a dark brown paper and the ingredients are listed as containing "fruit extractions, esters, aldehydes, ketones, essential oils, water and alcohol."

These spice bottles sat on my Grandma's stove. She lived in an apartment above the family business for over 40 years. When I left as a missionary for the LDS church, my Grandparents moved into a house. I remember these bottles well. They are made of glass and have a rubber stopper at the top.
The different bottles are very cool and each holds a seasoning that will enhance the flavor. Just as each person will do the same. Every person regardless of who they are adds spice the lives of those around them. Thank you for adding spice to my life.

Two Questions:
Who has helped you be better today than you were yesterday?
Who can you add your spice to help them be better than they were yesterday?
