We talked about the Garden of Eden and why Adam and Eve chose to leave. Eve ate first and then Adam followed his wife. They were married and wanted to be together because they had made covenants with God.
They wanted to follow the commandment that God had given them to multiple and replenish the earth. They were told that they would "in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread." (KJV Genesis 3:19) Toiling in the soil and pulling the weeds isn't miserable. It gives time to think or meditate, to heal, and to create something beautiful.
Jocelyn and Cocoa are hosting a party this month to celebrate family. She has sent the invitation to blog about it. I am accepting the challenge and hope that I can express my love and devotion to family.

This blog is my creative outlet. I'm not very crafty or organized, but I do have thoughts I want to share and this is a good forum.
Hmmm, weeds are good, because it means that we're around to be annoyed by them, right? But some days I sure could use a weed eater!
A few verses before 19 the Lord tells Adam and Eve "cursed is the ground for thy sake" which to me means work is important for all of us to learn - even pulling weeds. Eve was truly a wise woman. We named our oldest after her!
The stewardship God gave to us is truly beautiful. I love the name Eve. It is bold, mighty, and beautiful.
