Ingredients
3 cups cornmeal
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons soda
2 tablespoons molasses
3 cups buttermilk
2 eggs, well beaten
Sift together dry ingredients. Slowly stir in the molasses and buttermilk and mix well. Add the beaten eggs and beat hard for 2 minutes. Pour into shallow, well greased pans and bake in moderate over for 30 minutes.
